Our practices


AHVS is located in Herne Bay and Deal.  The Herne Bay branch is situated on the North Kent Coast just 8 miles north of the historic City of Canterbury and the Deal branch is situated 10miles south of Canterbury.

Our buildings are converted Victorian detached properties, with spacious comfortable waiting rooms.  There is a car park at the back of both buildings and at Herne Bay there is an enclosed, lit walk-way to safely walk your pets to our front entrance.

The practice offers:

  • X-ray and ultrasound facilities.
  • Small animal Endoscopy.
  • A wide range of in house testing, including blood and urinalysis.
  • Modern surgical equipment and facilities.
  • Qualified and experienced veterinary staff.
  • Licenced veterinary Inspectors.

We offer discounted and comprehensive veterinary care to local rescue centres and registered charities.

Very soon we will be opening an Equine Unit (Animal House Veterinary Services Equine) at Quex Park in Birchington.  At the unit we will be offering a more comprehensive range of equine services, including; intensive care and isolation, radiology, ultrasound and artificial insemination.  At the unit we also hope to hold 'Equine Health Clinics' where visiting practioners from the fields of physiotherapy, dentistry and farrier services will be available, along with a vet on hand, to carry out multiple services, therefore reducing the amount of visits needed anually.
