Our Practices
AHVS is located in Herne Bay , Deal and Birchington.
The Herne Bay branch is situated on the North Kent Coast just 8 miles north of the historic City of Canterbury and the Deal branch is situated 10miles south of Canterbury.
Our buildings are converted Victorian detached properties, with spacious comfortable waiting rooms. There is a car park at the back of both buildings and at Herne Bay there is an enclosed, lit walk-way to safely walk your pets to our front entrance.
Our Equine Unit (Animal House Veterinary Services Equine) at Quex Park in Birchington is now open and operational. We offer a comprehensive range of equine services, including; intensive care and isolation, radiology, ultrasound and artificial insemination. At the unit we also hope to hold 'Equine Health Clinics' where visiting practioners from the fields of physiotherapy, dentistry and farrier services will be available, along with a vet on hand, to carry out multiple services, therefore reducing the amount of visits needed anually. We also hold regular client inflrmation evenings for our registered clients, where a guest lecturer talks on current and relevant topics regarding the health and husbandry of horses.
